Abstract

Fiat money has become a major part of the current economic system. However, during the end of the Caliphate, the use of fiat money was not as widespread as it is now. At that time, it can be seen from the use of fiat money on economic stability that it had a large negative influence. This paper aims to examine the use of fiat money during the end of the caliphate. The research method used uses qualitative sources from literature, such as journals and other literary sources. The discussion in this paper includes the use of fiat money and its impact on the end of the caliphate and its implications for the current global economy.
