SOLUSI ISLAM DALAM MENGENTASKAN KEMISKINAN: STUDI KASUS DI INDONESIA

Abstract

The poverty that afflicts most of Indonesians reflects the failure of the capitalist economic system in distributing wealth fairly. This research aims to examine the relevance and implementation of Islamic solutions in overcoming poverty in Indonesia. The research uses qualitative methods for literature studies and case studies in Indonesia. Information was collected from published articles, economics books, mass media, and the main source of the book The Islamic Economic System by Taqiyuddin an-Nabhani as well as documents related to poverty alleviation policies in Indonesia. The results show that poverty cannot be overcome through social assistance approaches alone, but requires systemic changes to the economic structure and distribution of ownership.
