PELUANG DAN TANTANGAN PARIWISATA HALAL DI INDONESIA: PERPSEKTIF DAKWAH EKONOMI
Abstract
This research aims to look at the opportunities and challenges of halal tourism and how it affects economic growth in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with sources of information from documentation of the results of literature studies, such as: books, information in the mass media, journal articles that have been published, and especially from the holy book of the Quran. After analyzing some of the information collected, it was concluded that Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world with a huge potential for halal tourism destinations. Islamic teachings contained in the Quran explain that the command to travel to historical places to be able to take lessons so that they can increase faith and can automatically increase economic growth, especially in the area around the halal tourist location. Indonesia's halal tourism opportunities can be a means of Islamic economic da'wah even though it still faces challenges from the implementation of the capitalist economic system.
