KEBANGKITAN UMAT MELALUI FILANTROPI: DINAMIKA PERKEMBANGAN EKONOMI ISLAM INDONESIA

Abstract

Philanthropy in Islam including zakat, infaq, and alms has a significant role in the economic development of the ummah. This study analyzes the mechanism of philanthropy in reviving the economy of the people through wealth redistribution and economic empowerment. The research method used is in the form of literature study, involving analysis from various secondary sources, such as: books, articles, and scientific journals related to the research topic. The results of the study show that Islamic philanthropy contributes to improving people's social welfare, can reduce poverty rates, and empower the community's economy. Effective implementation of Islamic philanthropic principles can be a solution in reviving the economy of the ummah. This implementation requires significant policy support in order to be sustainable in the dynamics of Islamic economic development in Indonesia.
