Pengaruh Latar Belakang Pendidikan, Motivasi Kerja, dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Terhadap Kinerja Pada Pegawai Pemerintah Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat
Abstract
This study aims to identify the effect of educational background, work motivation, and leadership style on the performance of government employees in Central Jakarta partially and simultaneously. This research uses a Mixed Methods approach with an Explanatory Sequential design, combining quantitative and qualitative data sequentially, where quantitative data is collected and analyzed first, then continued with qualitative data collection to clarify or explain the quantitative results obtained. Data collected through interviews and questionnaires distributed to government employees in Central Jakarta. The results show that this regression model is simultaneously feasible to explain the effect of educational background, work motivation and leadership style on employee performance. The results of the coefficient of determination analysis show that the three independent variables contribute 73.3% of the variation in performance, while 26.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Educational background has no significant effect on employee performance, while work motivation and leadership style have a significant effect partially. Thus, this study is expected to provide a deeper insight into the factors that affect the performance of government employees and provide recommendations for future improvements.
