Jurnal Implementasi Sharia Compilance BMT Al Huda Wonosobo
Abstract
This study aims to examine the implementation of Sharia Compliance principles in the operational practices of BMT Al-Huda Wonosobo. The main focus is on how the institution applies Islamic financial principles in financing, internal supervision, and member education. This qualitative research was conducted through observation and interviews with the Head of Sharia Compliance Division. The findings show that BMT Al-Huda has established a dual-layered structure consisting of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) and a Sharia Compliance Division. While the DPS plays a limited role, the compliance division actively carries out educational activities, audits, and transaction verification. Monthly religious gatherings are held to deliver Islamic economics education to members. These findings highlight that BMT Al-Huda’s implementation of Sharia compliance is not only administrative but also deeply rooted in education and ideological commitment.
