Student Organization Activist Entrepreneurial Readiness: An Associative Approach

Abstract

The research aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge with entrepreneurial readiness among student activists. This research is a quantitative study associative. The data used is the primary data, obtained through questionnaires. The sampling method uses purposive sampling. A total of 60 respondents became samples that were activists of internal campus organizations at the Economics Faculty of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta came from three courses. Data analysis techniques use correlation tests, R2 determination tests, and simple linear regression analyses, using SPSS 17.0 for Windows programs. The results of the research and testing showed that the entrepreneurial knowledge variable was positively and significantly 0.623 against entrepreneurial readiness variables.  Entrepreneurial knowledge ties to entrepreneurial readiness of 38.8% on variables tied to readiness. The entrepreneurial knowledge factor influences the readiness of entrepreneurship and the relationship between the two is strong enough. It is advisable for the college to provide Kewiraushaan training so that students have readiness in entrepreneurship.
