AYAT DAN HADITS DOA KEBAIKAN DUNIA AKHIRAT: KEUNGGULAN DAN KEMULIAANNYA

Abstract

One of the teachings of religion is prayer. In a Hadith, it is said that the Messenger of Allah asked many prayers asking for goodness in the world and the afterlife. This prayer is also mentioned in the Qoran. So what are the advantages of reading this prayer, especially in the era of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions? This study focuses on the advantages of this prayer and its use during the time of the Prophet and his companions. This study uses a library method with a thematic Tafsir and thematic Hadith approach, namely collecting Tafsir history and Hadith history related to this prayer. The result is that this prayer has 5 advantages, namely: (1) a prayer that was widely read by the Prophet Muhammad; (2) ward off wrong prayers; (3) prayers included in the best prayers of the Prophet's friends; (4) widely read during tawaf by the Prophet's companions; (5) prayer for all forms of welfare. Thus, the practice of this prayer is of enormous benefit to the lives of Muslims in the affairs of this world and the hereafter as well as increasing the welfare of the people.
