Global Economic Cooperation between Countries: Historical Normative Approach from Islamic Economic Perspective

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the concept of international cooperation from an Islamic perspective. Descriptive qualitative method is used in this study with a historical normative approach. The normative approach is used to find the concept of global economic cooperation in an Islamic perspective. While the historical approach is used to find the history or period in which Islam carried out international cooperation. Data or information comes from journals, internet, and articles. Where from these sources we can find that Islam has been applied in the life of the state. Islam views the role of the state as the economic stakeholder in foreign policy and must be able to implement global economic cooperation properly and correctly so that the goals that can bring goodness do not get out of the scope of Islamic economics. Procurement of cooperation contracts must be in accordance with the application in fiqh muamalah so that international cooperative relations can be implemented in accordance with Islamic principles.
